Scamming the Scammers

I guess you guys get those "Hello, I am from Nigeria - a very important man died and we need help to get his money out of the country. If you send me your bank account details, we will transfer the funds there and you get 10% commission for your kindness" scams?

Then all that happens is your bank account is cleaned out and you never hear from them again?

Well, read this (http://www.419eater.com/html/joe_eboh.htm) . This guy is a genius at scamming the scammers and actually got money FROM them!

Aaargh Bob - I spent 18 minutes reading all that and it has a "to be continued" at the end?

Well done so far to him though. Not quite as good as Clifford Stoll, but he's doing well.

Thought I'd post a link to the home page of this site (http://www.419eater.com/html/letters.htm) - the guy is taking on a number of these scammers - and so far is getting some money out of them!

Not sure if he'll take on scams sent to him by other people - but if anyone gets one, then why not pass it on? Hopefully they'll be dumb enough to fall into our man's trap ... and hand THEIR money over to HIM!
