I noticed the other week that Deviant Esq was posting from Leeds so I thought I should return a little of the hospitality that you've all shown towards me on the site, so I got in touch.

To be honest I should have known what to expect having responded to his request for a website where he could find adult-oriented avatars, lol

So a few PMs later we sorted out meeting up for a drink or two, but ended up going to the local bike dealer for the launch of the '07 R1 before that. Unfortunately, neither of us won the R1, which was shame as I'd already got a buyer lined up so that I could buy a sorted GSXR750 trackbike instead, lol. Deviant Esq didn't seem too bothered either, mind you he was finding it difficult to keep his attention focussed on anything other than the free pies and peas

Not a bad looking bit of kit though the R1... for a Yam ;)

A couple of nights later we caught up again for a couple of pints, which I was too skint to pay for :dodge: (payday today - halibloodylooljah! - so I can return the favour). It was really good chatting to him about life in NZ, and around Chch in particular. The Port Hills sound like a lot of fun :Punk:

I'm rambling now... just wanted to say that if KBers are all like Deviant Esq, I'll be staying here ;) Haha, only kidding mate, really good to meet you and look forward to getting you sorted out with some riding gear and dropping you off the pillion seat on the rev limiter in 6th on some of Yorkshire finest roads, lol.

Oooo, one last thing... and the main reason I'm posting I suppose... do you all wear advertising boards with your KB green bling points represented by green sheets of A4 paper? I was quite surprised when Ryan walked in to the pub wearing one and asking the punters for green rep - the boys obsessed!!!! :first:

LOL ya clown!

Was good to meet you too. Now ya can bloody stay over here! :nya:
Nah looking forward to showing you around some good NZ riding roads. Even though I'm a bit of a novice rider I'm always keen to head out, and always keen to learn more too. And once you know the roads... :shifty:

The reputation thing on this site is quite unique. Most people don't really seem to keep track of how much reputation points they have, as such (and several members seem to have maxed it out, LOL), but it's nice when someone gives you bling for one of your posts. Kind of like a compliment in an indirect sort of way I suppose. As far as wearing a big poster around my neck? Didn't you know that's what we do?? :bleh:

Some members are quite keen on raising their post count, but I'm sure you've found that out already. Shh, they might not notice...

And no, not all KBers are like me. One of me is quite enough for most people. LOL

Anything with the words "adult oriented" is bound to get a bit of attention, especially if "deviant" is thrown in the mix.....and did someone mention pints....and pies....sounds like a hedonists wet dream! Then I realised the pints would be warm, the pies cold and the peas "mooshy" (lousy accent)....bugger!

What can I say - Adult oriented gets my attention... :shifty:

Oh, and I'm happy to dispel the notion that the English have their beer warm. Happily they don't any more! It's nice and cold, as it should be. Got some good drops here too!

Deviant, I just checked out FatTony's profile pic, stylin' it up on the gixxer...you are a braver man than I am if you strap yourself onto the back of that thing if only for the fact I couldn't stomach lookin' at that bloody "Aussie" helmet for miles on end!

Just expensive beer aye mate?

Deviant's strapping *what* on? Not near my back! And would you please leave my helmet out of the equation too, lol

That's the 'old' bike... this one's a little quicker... quicker than I am anyway

Haha, I heard Deviant was a "strapping young fella" but I didn't take it too seriously...

If you wanna know anything about riding riding fast bikes slowly then just drop me a line. Nah, you look to be scooting along at a fair rate of knots there mate, where was the pic taken?
You guys seem to have the reverse situation to NZ: plenty of decent tracks but expensive track time whereas we are a bit light on for decent tracks but what there is is quite cheap.

Cadwell Park - I'm ashamed to say that I don't which turn though :innocent: Possibly heading in to the Gooseneck??

Yeah, I can't quite believe how cheaply you guys get track time. I can afford a couple of days a year and that's it, with them costing anywhere from around £80 to £200+ for the GP circuits. And unfortunately, as much as the government go on about taking your speeding off the road, they're not yet subsidising track time... now that would be nice.

So, up all night working or eating too many sweets before bed... midget gems do it for me, lol

If you think I am going to walk around with a board stating that "Beemer is just a complete and utter green bling whore" on it, you're sadly mistaken, lol!

I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am to hear that. I'd even started to fabricate an easily-packable board for myself in the hope that it'd help me fit in.
