Dang! No I wasn't. I looked at Meetings and Events and didn't even think of looking at Wairarapa. Didn't even know that 'Wellington' riders were included in the 'Wairarapa' meet for Waitangi Day. Suppose I shall forever be a mushroom kept in the dark and fed...

Be that as it may, there may certainly be 250 riders in Wellington not wanting to go over the hill on Waitangi Day.

Went up the Rimutaka Hill and down to the twin bridges today, weather was glorious but quite a stream of steady traffic though.

Have a good day over the hill all.

Nice to meet you both... I hope you had a great ride. It was an excellent day for it... what a shame I got called back to work.....

I will keep an eye out for future rides.

Likewise to meet you Adrian. Stephan and I had good ride around the bays, very busy around Scorching Bay. Completed circuit to Newtown, bite to eat then up Aro Valley then towards Karori. Stephan carried on to do Makara run and I went along ridge to Ngaio and down then along SH2 up to Trentham to drop riffer's DVD's off.

Will plan on another ride this month and two in March doing the same run around the bays.
