Thought you might be interested to see my project that i have been building for the last 2 years. I have just completed it and put it on the road.
The bike has a small block chev with about 300 hp (have NOS to fit yet as well) with a custom built single speed with reverse and a manual power assisted clutch, boss hoss front end etc and has worked out very well.
cheers. AJ.

That looks great, a ton better than the "Boss Hoss" monstrosities they do in the states!
How far is it bored out? out to 307 cubes or just an oversize? More details please!!!
How about the ride report? I don't expect a lot about the handling but a 1/4 mile time should be interesting!
Well bloody done!!:Punk:

Awesome looking bike. Well done dude.
Can you tell us a bit more about the specs (not just the engine)? Also what does it ride like? Did you have any bother getting through LVVTA?

Thanks for your comments and to answer a few questions its about 307 ci with hi com pistons, isky cam, eidebrock manifold holley 4 barrell etc etc and i have a Nitrous kit to fit yet to add a further 75 to 150 hp depending on which nozzles i use(dont know if the nads will stand up to that yet haha) The bike actually handles pretty good for a big bastard and is as stable as a rock at high speed (gently up to 220kmh so far as still running in) and has worked out better than i thought it would. Its an Lvvta and yea the certification was a bit of a pain in the ass but got it sorted ok building it was a lot harder.
The distributor wires crack everyone up and yea could be a bit shocking in the wrong spot. Radiator is modified aluminium vn commodore and the red bit is anodised mesh.
Thanks again for your great comments
cheers AJ.:scooter:

WOW........... that is awesome.
Just one question thou...
Can you change the yellow wires to RED?
Then the wires wont stand out so much.... RED ones will fit in with the bike's colours.
Thunder 8
2nd February 2007, 09:51
Howdy yea the wires are prob going to change to red, big tyre and rim will come later its already sucked up a lot of money, weight is prob round 600kgs will weigh it soon but on the road its suprisingly nimble(mind you so are some tanks lol). you just dont give it a big rev while your sitting still as the torque reaction is Huge.
cheers

Wicked bike there mate, you've still got the number plate readable in one of the pics tho.
Be wicked if you could find a curved radiator for it, might flow with the lines of the bike a bit better (just my opinion I guess). All in all though, a great effort, can really see how hard you have worked on it to bring it to such a high level of finish.

You are a genius mate, looks incredible.
600kgs @ 220kph ...what type of stoppers have you got?
Thunder 8
3rd February 2007, 09:13
The stoppers are just dual piston caliipers but better ones will come later with planned flash rims etc.Perhaps a parachute will help hahaha.

Warren its a single speed forward wih reverse (and neutral) can get away with this with a v8 because theres so much torque and it works really well. I set the gearing for approx 100kmh at 2000 rpm so it criuises nice.Took it up gently to 4500rpm the other night and its pulling like a train at that so will be interesting when its fully run in.
cheers
