I bought this bike late November 2006. This is an excellent bike and I am really sad to sell it.
Selling only because I am re-locating to Australia.
The bike is in a perfect condition and was well looked after.

She's a 2006 K6 then. 2007 bikes (K7 I presume) have white face gauges. Naught else different though... I prefer the black gauges anyway (nicer font) :)
There's a community of SVers in Oz mate, check out http://www.svdownunder.com/

For the record, not trying to hijack the thread, mine is registered as a 2007 Suzuki SV1000s K6, presume this is the same.

Ask Suzuki Australia to supply you with a letter stating that the bike is manufactured to meet DOTARS requirements.
I have JUST done this to BMW Australia so I can take my 10 month old K1200S with me.
Be prepared to pay 10% duty, 10% gst on duty, value of bike, shiping and AQUIS charges.
Good luck.
Regards
"Dear Peter
For information on taxes and duties you will need to contact the Australian Customs service on information@customs.gov.au. To import your vehicles into Australia you must first qualify for an import approval. Full details on importing can be obtained from http://www.dotars.gov.au/transport/safety/road/bulletin/importing.aspx .
Under the personal import scheme you can only import one vehicle but if you are married your partner can apply to import another vehicle if they hold a licence for the specific type of vehicle. In regards to your BMW motorcycle if you do not own and use the vehicle overseas for 12 continuous months the only way this vehicle could be imported would be to obtain a letter of compliance from BMW Australia, this letter can only be issued if the vehicle was built to Australian specifications and still BMW are under no obligation to issue this letter.
