Hahaha We were the buyers of that house, so we make an appearance arriving on our bikes ;) They asked us to ride up to the house and they took a few shots off us....

Anybody watching the end of the sevens happen to catch a certain Auckland couple in the TV spot for this show?

Qkchk and Qkkid, know that bleached blonde hair looked familiar from somewhere.

Wearing leathers and carrying helmets while taking the tour and being interviewed on cam. Way to go.

Just watched and that was very cool! Well done guys! We did the same thing - saw the house, loved it and bought it and signed for it within the hour! Mind you - our price wasnt quite that price! In Carterton, we could have bought a mansion!

Oh....that's not fair.....Bex and I were approached by Location, Location, Location too. They came to film us selling our own place ourselves...ie: No Agent. We were using Homesell at the time. All was going well, we were interviewed and they shot over an hour's worth of material. Then the punters started arriving for the Open Home. Again, all good... no problem. The spanner in the works came when the eventual buyers came along and hated the idea of any TV coverage. So much so that they put a clause in the bloody sale/purchase agreement, "The vendors take no part in the TV programme, Location, Location, Location." I had to call the producers and apologetically bottle out. I wasn't going to jeopardise the sale. Saved $18000 though selling it ourselves. Brilliant! Never did find out why they were so twitchy about the "exposure".

On the other hand, my claim to fame is that I have actually made it to the small screen here in NZ. My band did the opening and closing spot on "Good Morning" back in October 2005. Hardly prime time viewing, but good fun and a free demo video to boot!
