I'm not overly bothered to be honest ether way,i do like the look of like the GSX fully faired but not too bothered with a nake. just need something with a slightly bigger frame size than the G as i cramped up on it

One of my GSXR 250's will probably up for sale soon once I put the donor engine into it, looking to sell it around your price range too. Might be a couple of weeks away from getting it done however.

I would have loved a CBR but wouldn't touch one thats been crashed, the ZXR is nice but just put to bids on with the purpose solely to look for the 15% marker so he is after ~$3500 which is a bit pricey for me as it still needs to be brought down from auckland. the VT, just don't like it to be perfectly honest lol i'm pretty fussy.

That is pretty sweet bike but $3500 + shipping would be impossible for me, may talk to the gu and if he's wiling to go a bit lower could be dealing would just be convincing mum to buy a bike i haven't seen lol, but i'm sure if i asked nicely sum1 would check it for me :Punk:

...mate, I'd be bringing my cash with me - you ain't going to get a better deal than this all summer. Just look at TradeMe and what you'll get for the same $...b*gger all.

Buying the Bandit would be a no brainer for me. Does the seller know what these are really worth, cos you're getting a bargain. Good luck.

ok thanks for that manx, i talked to the guy and these are ready to sell to dealers for them to tack there rate on top of it but he sed he's happy to sell it to me for the same rate, having previously obught off him and he'll chuck on the rego :)

That's not a GSX-R 250 - it's a GSX250 with a paint job.

Difference = GSXR 4 cyl 45hp BUT GSX 2 cyl 34hp

or thereabouts.

looks tidy, its a restricted 40hp model though - redlines sooner, less torque etc etc - I wouldnt pay $3,500 unless its got some decent tyres on it

remember mines still here, I have a very fair price on it too (6 months rego) - but the timing is wrong :(

Hmm yours was priced better but just the wrong timing ae, to bad really but i need it for school :( the bike has a bridgestone BT45 on the back and a keda cruiser on the front. what would you pay for it wasp?

1) good point by Wasp - front tyre is the best insurance policy you can get...make sure it's as new as poss/got decent tread
2) yeah, you might get one for $3k, but it won't be until winter is on its way (too late then ay?). Viz earlier point bout what you can get on TradeMe for $3k.
3) IF you do get one for $3k, I doubt it'll be in as good a nick as this one seems to be (still wise to check it over...).

...mate, love it. Even though it's my first bike and therefore have nothing to compare it to, it goes sweet. I wouldn't change it for anything (until I get my full...!).

Yer I have a Bandit (later model but presume the guts is still basically the same) and i love it. The power is SO much better than that GN (had to ride one for handling cert) and it looks cooler :D . I payed $5k for mine which is alright I guess for the amount of K's it has. No doubt that you'll be happy with it if you get it.

By the way I have the 'Shift' version of the Draggin' Jeans and they are pretty comfortable (wearing them now lol) and look better in black than the Draggin' Jeans. I don't how good they are at saving your skin in a crash, and don't particuarly want to find out, but they are resonably thick.

They were $190 (Shift Jeans), and if i remember correctly the Draggin' Jeans were $250.
