Young dude riding a bike on dealer plates, does a runner on the Shore and crashes into a van in less than 30 seconds. Police are still there, most of the roads are blocked off around the North Cross lights.

Rule #1; If you can't ride for shit, don't do a runner.

My heart bleedeth purple piss !!

Well the dealer wont be very happy with this rider...... having smashed up their bike.

Fancy doing something silly on a bike either being lent to you (while bike is being fixed etc) or out on a test ride.

This may put some dealers off from loaning/lending their bikes out.

Silly bugger.

And I guarantee that bike was a ZXR250 in black/charcoal with an 07 Dealer plate on it! The rider was wearing only a yellow t-shirt and track pants.

This stupid prick went flying past me & Qkkid on the Northern Motorway (we were in da Jeep) nearly took himself out on a car while passing (doing at least 120kph in a 80 zone). Little a@#eholes like him deserve everything coming to them, when they ride like he was.......

No he couldn't...........thats why me and Qkkid considered him a "temporary kiwi".

Just think if he was one of the KB's from this site he would be a legend and we would be attacking the filth. At the same time we are being exploited by $25 to watch our parents at classic racing at puke and $15 to enter a showroom in Manukau. I've got better things to do sorry....

Doing a runner on a ZXR250? That takes some guts.

In regards to showrooms getting pissy... who's to say it wasn't the showroom has reported it stolen or something?

Nah, I don't believe that. Seen plenty of people here being called out on either doing the runner or something similar in the past by the vast majority of posters, and plenty in support of the law. Most of the whinging against the police here is in regards to trivial speeding offences, not outright dangerous riding.

Hello Swanny..................... was it that guy?
Sounds like it was him, bike was black and small capacity.

Rider was a few hundred meters away from his address in Carlial Rd (sp?) when he crashed.

He was taken away status 2 with suspected internal injuries.

I thought it was Mark, but it wasn't.

The funny thing is, just before he crashed the pursuing unit had lost sight and was about to abandon.

I believe both of you still have something to lern about KB. No-one who rides stupidly and/or dangerously will ever be a legend on this site. This guy did both.

The cops get shit thrown at them for stopping riders on trivial or fabricated charges, but most of the time the guys on the front line are respected. Its the ones who sit in their ivory towers and make stupid policy that the front line cops have to carry out who get and deserve our disrespect.

Is that what your Uncle told you?? I'm surprised he didnt come round here looking for me again.
Nah, I haven't seen him in ages, I'm starting to wonder if too many complainants came forward and he was re-assigned or kicked off the force?

Are the piggies still sniffing around your troff?

Hey! I better not hear about you trying any runners when you get a bigger bike. Otherwise, I'll have to come over and give you the bash! :spanking:

And yes, it has been nearly three years but I still cant seem to get rid of the stigma the plods have attached to me.

That's because, in the eyes of the law, if speed kills, you're a mass murderer.
