This is a shameless plug for John Sewell in Petone who has just kindly welded up my Triumph crankcases.

Repaired a big hole around the output sproket (no, I didn't have the missing bit).
Fitted a breather (drilled 6 holes, taped 2)
Drilled and fitted a new layshaft thrust washer pin
Decked the cases

All for $85.... (I'll round it up to $100 because even thats too cheap)

It you need and bike / alloy welding. This man is the MAN....

Thanks Paul, thats good to know. I have a hole in the crankcase of my Duke 250 single from a previous owner with a wayward chain that needs filling when I get a chance to work on it.

Graham Berry (Graham Berry race cars, Upper Hutt) did a nice job of repairing my CB750 cases when the chain broke and wrapped around the front sprocket.
there are some talented people around the Hutt valley.
