Is it legal to have registration slips (etc) mounted on the rear window of a cage?

What would be the purpose of those slips?

Always thought registration slips (etc) had to be on the lower left of the front wind screen.

See file photo below from a mufti-police car snapped recently (here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=43425)).

Just noticed, there are actually none on the lower left front wind screen.

Strange... someone call HP and get them to ticket them for incorrectly displaying the rego sticker.

Surely as long as you got em, who cares where you stick em? ( I am still talking about the stickers by the way).

Another thread states this truck tows a police boat trailer - could they be the labels for the trailer reg? (dunno why it needs three unless there are three different trailers)

If it is such a big deal, maybe someone should just ring up the maritime police unit and ask them? I doubt they'd keep it a secret.

I have a mate in the road transport industry who got $2400 worth of fines for displaying stickers on the wrong side of the heavy trailer he was towing .....

Was a repainted trailer and they put the holders on the right in stead of left or somethig like that .....

Where should I display my licence?
Your RUC licence details must be displayed at all times on the inside of the passenger's side of the front windscreen. The face of the licence, which shows the registration plate number, must be visible from outside the vehicle. If a supplementary licence has been issued, both the distance and the supplementary licence must be displayed.

Throw that man in jail! Looks like a CVIU ute. Community roadwatch report ... what is the rego of the ute?
