I need to buy a pair of strides, the missus has stingily given me $100 to spend.

Motomail outlet is shut tomorrow, and I need them before Wednesday, as thanks to some filthy piece of crap, my wifes car was nicked today from her work.

Any bike gear shops/suppliers who might even come close to my budget, that might be open tomorrow?

Not fussed on brand/variety, just need something better and preferably more waterproof than a pair of jeans.

Chairs!

Huzzah!

After doing 6 hours of overtime today, and due to the hassles with the wifes car going on an unauthorised test drive, my brilliant boss has given me Wednesday off PAID so I can go to Motomail.

My boss ROCKS!

Excellent! Sounds like you need a touch of good luck for a change. It's probably not a bad idea to have a look at Trade Me too - a few months ago when I was selling some old bike gear I noticed they had a pretty good selection.

Why dont you check out some Quasimoto gear. Your nearest agent is White Trash at Papakura. Excellent stuff at rock bottom prices.

...not much on the website for a hundy...

Actually, not much on the website... while I am sure it's a wonderful outfit to purchase from, and those involved are the salts of the earth, I need to spend less, so it'll be the waiting game for this lad, then a trip to St Lukes...

So you are just wanting to keep dry..........

Head to the warehouse and buy the YELLOW wet weather pants $8.83 and they will also match your bike.

Then you can keep them under your bike seat for those rainy days.

That will tie you over until your wife gives you a bit more pocket money to spend.

Ask around as some shops may let you pay them off...... drip feed payements.

I saw some interesting heavy duty trousers in NZ Safety Yesterday, made of the same stuff as my jacket, that wearble plastic fibre sheit. Also for another $8 you can put pads into the knee pockets. Seemed like a reasonable buy. But not open Tuesday.

He's already got a pair of Yellow Warehouse waterproofs.

I think he has his eye on the RJays Voyager cordura pants that motomail sell in their outlet for $100.
