but i am a biker again hope to have many many k's of enjoyable riding.
cant wait till the first service is done, then i get to open it up.

added extras:

bungs, crash knobs
tail end tidy ????
headlight guards (a must)
pack rack
tank crotch guard (get a bit excited)

thats the list so far

wanting further:
carbon hugger
after market indicators
heated grips for the south island later on.
mirror extensions, elbows are looking good though.
etc etc etc :)

bloody hell got to love a new bike. but no new leather smell though.

I'm in for sure, 3/4 June.

Absolutly this year, and a few extra days sounds the go. Last year was silly, especially the ride home. How about a west coast, over the Haast and back up the East coast?

Oh yeah, wasn't this thread about your new bike.

mirror extensions, elbows are looking good though.

Made some cheap ones lol

I found a hunk of 40mm douglas fir lying about, cut them with the jig saw and drilled them out. You will have to go and get some longer bolts though.

I haven't painted them yet - can I borrow some of the black stuff for DMNTD.

T.I.E. you remember the yoshi's on my SV? They sound awesome I always loved the sound of them. Have put the standard cans back on the Aprilia and sold the Leo Vince now it sounds like a bumble bee on P. Im getting the originals cored to get that proper V-Twin sound, we will have to line up and have a sound off.
Glad your happy and nothing quite like a brand new bike, knowing no one else has messed with it. I remember the day I got mine, was the best thing ever. Do a trip down our way then you will be able to get that first service out of the way cause its an 800km return journey.

If you wanna start a pillow fight at the Brassy just bring up the subject of how you should "run in" a bike....then stand well back......
