Wanted, back seat on a trike on Sunday

This is an appeal on behalf of a stalwart member of the Auckland Ulysses Branch, our Nikola Belich. Nikola has been an active member for a number of years now, was our Quartermaster (with partner Terry) and then switched to the job of Newsletter Editor.

Nikola has had a terrible time recently after being knocked off her bike by the classic "didn't see the motorcycle and came through the Give Way" cage driver. Her leg was badly damaged and she has had numerous operations and a lot of hospital time. Her leg is now on the mend but not enough to let her go on a bike on the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Charity Ride on Sunday.

She would dearly like to go on this ride, especially as this may be the last one (another story), and is hoping to find a trike rider who is willing to take her on the back.

If anyone can help please get back to me and I will let her know.

sorry I can't help with an offer, but just wanted to say sorry to hear about Nikola's misfortune. I hope someone can offer her a seat. I'll be looking out for a back-seat passenger with a cast on Sunday and I'll come up and say "Hi" :)
