Hi there, I've just bought a Honda Magna 250, just having a few things done to it and waiting to hear back about my Basic Handling Skills test. I'd love to hear from anyone who knows somewhere closer to Nelson than Christchurch where I can do this!!!

Also keen to meet some other newbies to go riding with once I've got my licence, very very excited!

:woohoo: Glad to hear you coming on board fellow two wheels of freedom enthusiast! Yah, I tried a Magna on for size when I was shopping around for a two fiddy to get started as well!

So you didn't get the result back ASAP when you did it? You didn't run over any old lady cutout, smack over the baby pram, knock all the cones over and left a skidmark over the instructor did ya?

Haven't even got it off the showroom floor yet! But will be trying pretty hard not to hit old ladies - I'll be one soon enough, who needs that kinda bad karma!

Cool don't forget to post a piccie of your bike after you've wheeled it of the floor. There must be some locals your way to help you out. good luck for the test- it is easy especially if you have good balance.
Catch you when you're tripping around.
