Have you ever had a day when you get up the suns coming up over the hills it's still and warm and you think what a great day to ride!!!
Wensday the 7th Feburary
I left home at 6.50am approaching the tunnel under the motorway at Tawa and a large truck decides he wants to pull into my lane from the offramp I couldnt beleive this fuckwit my leg brushes his front bumper as I try to accelerate away, escaped unhurt but had to stop up the road to check my underwear!!!
Went to the local cafe for a coffee to settle my nerves and as I'm walking out the front door a tosser in a toyota rear ends a truck right in front of me!!!
apparently he didnt see it???
I get to work and ring the trucking company and talk to the dispatcher he knows the driver and says he will sort it!!
Left work around 3.30pm travelling through Petone in a single lane and next thing I know theres an Indian guy in a white nissan right beside me (he was overtaking in a 50k zone and pedestrians at the crossing ahead) nowhere for me to go and a van parked to the left of me I had to brake hard to stop and avoid a collision!!!!
After I regain my composure and proceed up the foreshore to the M/way a Nissan patrol 4wd cuts me off on the Petone overbridge fuck it I've had enough so I pull up beside this Ginga Gollywog and abuse the living fuck out of him!!! The prick saw me and still didnt give a fuck!!
Made it off SH/2 safely on SH/1 heading towards Tawa and a van tries to pull into my lane while I'm riding past him!!! get home park the bike up check the undies and decide that I must've been one lucky s.o.b.
This has to be the worst display of driving I've seen in years all in one day!!!!!

Any body else have a similar experience yesterday I put it down to the hot weather!!!!!!!!

Oh good, they must have stayed away from SH2 when I was on it then.

Apart from one old lady who couldn't stay in her lane, it was pretty quiet for bull and I this morning.

There's your problem, right there. You got up in a different year to everybody else. No wonder you were having issues.....

I've seen/felt days like that on the roads in Auckland. In my car. You can sense it as well as see it, everyone is mental. Days like that I head home as inconspicously as I can and stay there.

Thanks for taking the heat Guitana. I had no 'moments' on my commute yesterday. A rare feat indeed.

You have days like that. You survived so well done. Makes you wonder what some people are thinking though.

So there's at least 3 mirrorectomy kills chalked up then???

Educate the fuckers to LOOK for bikes. FEAR helps - fear of the cager encountering another pissed-off biker!

I'm going to invest in a nice heavy bike chain and ride past slashing across the bonnet next time it happens!! What really fucks me off is the cunts cut you off then when you pass them hurling abuse they look at you as if youre the one with the problem!!
I reckon they need to feel the fear! more angry riders venting their spleens at cagers will keep them weary of crossing the path of a pyscho on two wheels!!

I had one idiot throw his arm out of a van and punch me in the side of the head last Friday.

I hope he hurt his hand. Didn't hurt me. I gave his mirror a good bash as I went past. Unfortunately it didn't break.

Actually, most mirrors don't break when you hit them. They just seem to bend forward.

It's just really hard to get a good swing in when you are splitting past.

Perhaps FatJim has some advice?

Correct, you are learning young padawan!

However, beware of the wildly slashing chain of doom onto the cager of ignorance... I know of a biker many years ago who was doing the same, and the little old lady in the car ran the big-bad-biker off the road, then proceeded to drive to the nearest police station and tell the officer what she had done. The cop said to her "well done"....

I've had a couple such attempts made. Generally forced labour types in Quinn workforce vans. But then, I guess they must be pretty bitter about their lot.

Once a bus driver looked in his mirror, made eye contact with me and pulled out anyway, forcing me onto the wrong side of the road. When I pulled up to his window he gave me the finger before I said a word. All I could think of to say was "Your family must be pretty proud of you driving a bus aye loser!". It was not until later that I thought of more witty retorts.

Must have been something in the air yesterday.

I generally feel like Moses when riding on the Hutt Rd as it's a bit like the Red Sea Parting, the cages tend to leave a wide channel and/or move out of the way but I rode out to the Hutt for TCWNR and obviously the schools are back because the traffic was worse than the last few weeks. Also I was blocked on 3 or 4 occasions, intentionally I'm sure because each time they visibly moved into the centre and tried to block me.

Fortunately the Dickheads only mangaged to check the speed, not interrupt the flow.

get a bb gun, a decent one, can take windows with you, problem is that you then need to remove plates (and yourself from the area) or might cause trouble with unwanted bacon turning up at your door.
i bashed my first mirror on monday, that was in auckland, may have been a nationwide kill a biker day that we have not heared obout???:shit:

I kicked two cars today on the Terrace, fuckers. One cunt cut in front when he decided where he was indicating wasn't where he wanted to go, and the other was just an ADT security car doing nothing wrong, but they are dicks so deserve a good kicking.
I missed my meds for two days in a row, that's the result, intense rage.
EDIT (Next day, took my pills, now feeling very ashamed. Sorry!)

Dont be ashamed!
Giving some loosers cage a good kicking is great therapy.

Thanks Lias, it seems even stinkin' hippies can overcome those pacifist teachings sometimes and just go Nato!

Nothing wrong with a bit of controlled violence Steam.Just ensure you use decent steel cap boots so as not to damage your feet!!!!!!!!!
