Ouch is right, I wear my safety gear everytime I go out now. Especially after falling off in shorts and a t shirt after school, however long ago that was :o .

Not too long ago :msn-wink:
Yeah, I should get a good cycle jacket, but my $5 cashie one seem to had some marks on it when I crashed yesterday, so I guess it worked :)

Dickkheads is the phrase that comes to mind. I mean doing stunts is cool but with no helmet & a t-shirt on! C'mon!

Seen a couple of those on a Trailer I ahave for one of the stunting vids.
As for the lack of gear shown by one out of however many riders. I have no idea who the rider is and so wouldn't comment.
I know a lot of the "pros" wear only helmet and gloves and jeans and tshirt. Their choice, and also even though what they're doing has more perceived risks. I'd say their experience offsets that too some degree.
And lets face it crashes, injuries, blood and guts all sells dvds. And that why their trying to do.
Having said that the no helmet no gloves shown by that rider made me cringe even before he binned.
The other stoppie gone wrong (tankslapper-mid-stoppie?), was the one that freaked me the most. Damn if that had been me I'd have needed a change of pants and at least two very strong drinks.

Don't get me wrong, I like to ride without a helmet (lol I don't mean on the road) but I wouldn't do shit like that with out a helmet, your just asking for trouble.
