Well I got a new bike lol.

Got home, and it fell of it's stand, so today I got a new clutch lever and mirror. done and done.

it's a 1988 CBR250R.

oh yea, question, where does one put in water for the radiator (if there is one, but hope so considering how high and how hot those bikes get lol)

i'd tell her to go to a shrink for dating a guy that looks like that, although its pretty obvious where his influences are coming from!

Nice ride indy, talk to hurricane_r if you want some help with mods to make it a nicer/more nimble ride.

to stop you blowing it up like i did to hurricane_r's old engine i'd suggest taking off the fuel tank, you'll find it at the top by the steering head.

I know how you feel when you see people on bigger bikes and your on an FXR. Don't get me wrong, FXRs are fine, but had mine for 3 years now lol. Time for something new!

As for the radiator it should have an expansion tank and generally you just keep the level right in there. Make sure you top it up to the mark (don't fill it right up) with 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze/rust inhibitor (glycol). Unless your radiator cap is stuffed the radiator should always be full to the brim because after you stop the bike and it cools down it sucks the coolant back from the expansion tank.

yeah, they're awesome arent they? I actually got them at no1. shoe warehouse for 12 dollars or something crazy.. do not ask me why i payed so much... they are the latest and greatest in riding gear, they enable your feet to keep cool on the bike... however.. they may get just a little bit shredded if you crash etc.. ^_^

Even I can reach the ground on both sides of this little sportbike.....
And its the only sportbike that I have come across in which I can do this....

Yep I sat on it today..... even the reach to the handlebars was quite comfy.....
BUTT that seat....... has to go.... damn it is so hard.

Guess I have been spoilt by my soft seat on my VIRAGO :love:

So I am picking that this bike has been really lowered......

well, that is a question that can't be answered at this point, im way too poor to even think of affording one any time soon lol. But believe you me, i shall get one!!

The day will come AJ......and then there will be no stoping ya, have seen happen alot on here. There are people willing to pillion on here also, s thats an option, not the same as riding your own but at least you are out there on rides having fun.....:scooter:
