I'm with you there Leong. In fact giving up for nearly 30 years was the dumbest thing I ever did :weird: ..................(and I have managed to do some seriously dumb things in the last 54 years:slap:)
Yakman, just get on and stay on mate. Drive a car when you need or want to (they do have their uses, tho' some might not agree) but ALWAYS keep a bike in the shed..............

o.k so i have been looking around a fair bit, and i'm definately leaning towards a VTR 250, any thoughts? are they good, bad or otherwise?

VTR250's are the business. Not the fastest thing in the world but a good solid, learners bike that will put a smile on your face and has the ability to scare you if you're not careful.
Engine is a sweet v-twin and it's a Honda so very reliable (some will say boring but I prefer riding to fixing)
Perhaps send a PM to McJim he has had a VTR longer than me and can give you some better advice... not sure if he is back from his hols in the deepest, darkest parts of NZ yet though :)
