Hi everybody!

I'm here for at least 2 years here, in Auckland, for my study...And so, I left my moto (Kawa ER-5, 1997) in Paris...and i miss it!

But no money to buy another one here for the moment...and I can't forget the pleasure of a ride!

Just want to find some tips to maybe buy one later or someone to ride with around Auckland time to time :sunny:

Cheers!

Bienvenue a Nouveau Zelande.

It can give you a bit of a headache speaking a foreign language all the time (I know - I'm Scottish and lived in Italy for a while).

You'll be surprised how affordable bikes can be over here - the initial price is a bit higher but insurance, tax and fuel are way cheaper than in Europe.

Enjoy KB.

As it so happens, I just got engaged to a lovely French girl and I'm moving to Paris in a month's time! I was there during Xmas and New Year's and from what I saw, you'll definitely enjoy riding in the outskirts of Auckland more than Paris, as the roads are much twistier and quieter! I happen to live in St Lukes/Mt Albert as well, so if you ever want a ride in the next couple of weeks (before the bike goes on sale :crybaby: ), then let me know!

OK, to the blunt people. I thought since she is European she'll be a bit open minded to humor that is quite far out there. I saw the people hitting on her but only half witted, so that's my way to be funny.

GIXer has a Mrs and he was joking in the same way. What's different when I do it? (even if I always push it the extra bit).

My German mrs who went away to Germany has come back in January already. She's awesome, funny, smart and beautiful. I am happy, she is happy.

... it would be silly to turn them down simply because they are a member here.

... and/or already taken.

Because everyone knows that bikes and women just get better the more they're ridden.

Come to think of it, I never found out exactly what Frosty did with my old FXR.

I calculated the MTBF (mean time between...) of women on KB a while back. It was sub-3-months, IIRC.

And I'm proud to say that I've owned at least one bike that's passed through a minimum of three KB hands.

I think you are restricting your options there a bit bro. I mean whoever you end up with , there is a good chance they will be into bikes, hence maybe KB too. Or maybe there is already someone on KB that will be an option, but it would be silly to turn them down simply because they are a member here.
Our fallen mate Bruce wouldnt have met the awesome Nicky if he had that rule eh!

Once upon a time I used to belive I was a normal little boy. Things happened, I changed. Now I am carefull/cautious/some times bitter for no reason bla bla bla. One could say I have a bit of baggage.

Apart from that, I'm a pretty good cunt deep down and even I know it. :D

None the less, it's my bubble wrap and I feel most comfertable with that. I am not opening some doors that I have shut a long time ago. That's that.

Obviously I think a lot as I love phylosophy and theories and I can see your point of view and I know I'm silly but in the end, it's what I feel is right and it's what I choose to do.
