To all those girls out there that are jumping to conclusions.
I have had my hyosung GT250R for three weeks now and it is perfect.

people have a few misconceptions cos it is new, but it is the worlds biggest selling 250cc for a good reason.
Couple of small problems that it does have don't matter till ur pushin it to the edge and by that time you would have addressed the front brakes and tyres.

Not too forget that people are compairin them to race bikes that have been round for a few years and the quick ones have all been modified over the years. There are a few GT250R's overseas that comfortably reach 200km's with room to spare. so give it 12 months till a few more have been sold and performance parts are more available to the huge amount of users.

??????????

PS I could go on...

Pretty sure he means that hyobags have been sighted overseas with 200kms on the odometer. Nobody over here has kept theirs long enough to reach that milestone, but give it 12 months when more have sold and possibly someone might put up with it that long :dodge:

Pisstakes aside, glad you're enjoying your bike.

I would hold your thoughts until the next GT250R - i presume they'll release a facelift 2007/2008 model with cosmetic changes- . If the common problems with the current model are fixed then they are on there way to becoming a serious & reputable motorcycle manufacturer.

On another note just because alot of people buy them doesnt mean they are better or reliable...........look at Ford & Holden .:dodge:

Who gives a crap what you ride... just ride it, if it meets your needs then enjoy it while it does... its your pride and joy  ... it gets you from A to B and back again... who cares what speed it can and/or can't do... You are only allowed to do 100km anyway on the road *right* :innocent:

heck the other day I was holding up traffic cause I was to busy sight seeing in my own country sheese... bloody tourists :dodge:

Do you actually mean girls (females)? Or are you using 'girls' as a derogatory term for boys?

Coz all the 'hobagging' that I've read seems to be coming from boys. And yet all the people who seem to buy and ride Hyosungs, seem to be other boys. Us real girls are too busy riding and having fun to care about bike comparison fetishes.

They're a decent enough bike for the price.

But were CBR 250's etc still being cranked out knew I wonder how many would be selling...

You can put a turbo in the GTR for around $300, they're on Ebay.

It'll give you a bit more grunt, enough to cut it with the CBR and ZXR models.

There is a guy in Wellington who spent $5k on a turbo kit (the real deal, not an electric gismo) and is reaping the rewards of such a machine.

Mate, ignore all the fags who talk shit, just abuse them and sing the praises of Hyosung to whomever you encounter.

Yup - what she said.

Mate what others think of your bike doesn't matter. I'm famous for taking the piss out of cruisers left and right, but that doesn't make 'em wrong.

You're on two wheels, you're enjoying it, and you sound like you're worried what others think of your ride. Don't. Enjoy it, stay safe and tell 'em to fuck off.

And as for cruisers... well... crashe and Lissa will no doubt put me right later..:gob:
