Old faithful GB400 has to go as I have softened and bought a Kawasaki ER6F. No major vices, has a few chips in the paint, a bit of surface rust on the headers. Tyres are good , has a fairly new chain and rear sprocket and has a Corbin seat fitted but the original seat ( in good condition ) is included. PM me if you are interested

Its done 63000 km, I've had it for roughly 3 years and the only thing it has needed in that time is a new rear tyre a couple of thou ago and a new sprocket and chain 6 months ago. As for top speed I of course would not know on the road but on a closed private road :innocent: it gets to an indicated 150kph without any trouble

Would you take $1000?

Try the PM or email approach. Petes bike is worth the $1200 he's asking. It runs better than mine. They'e gone for $1500 plus on trademe with more kms. I've had one for almost 12 months and they are a fun ride. Have been known to give GSX400Rs and GSX600Fs a run for their money on occasion on tight country roads. Type GB400 in the KB search bar for more info.

Pete if you want to sell the Corbon seat seperate I'd be interested ;).

I've made up my mind that a GB400 or 500 will be my `big bike' once licence permits. Good luck with sale, I'd be in for that price if this was a year into the future!

The mighty GB is sold . Today Mark247 came down from Te Puke on the bus, basically hopped on the bike and set off back home. Good keen man, it's a decent ride on a bike he knew nothing about. I had checked the oil and tyre pressure etc before I took it to the bus station so I am sure he had no problems, possibly a sore but - it is a single after all. Was sad to see it go but at least I've got the Quacker to console me

Jesus. My body is obviously not designed to ride a bike for 6 hours on. My butt and neck have had a bloody work out. But it was a fun ride. I road with some guy on some 1000cc sport bike up the desert road and i could keep up alright but i he wasnt exactly gunning it, and we both nearly got pinged by the same cop going 140kmh. Then it rained and i soaked so i had to stop at a gas station and let my stuff dry off on the exhaust for 30 minutes. Other than that it was a great ride. Cheers Pete.

Good on ya. They're cheap to run, fun and reasonably reliable bikes.
