no offence, but $170 PLUS expenses is a ridiculous price, technically that means the rent on that place is $680 if the four of you are paying $170 and that is way way too high, unless liek you said, you own the house and have a mortgage. I live in a 3 bedroom gorgeous renovated villar just around the corner from you with a huge backyard and all of the benefits you mentioned and i pay $110 per week plus maybe $60 per month for expenses..

Good luck, but I think you are above the market,,

If I may interject... $600 p.w. plus seems the going rate for 3-4 beds in that neck of the woods. Remember also that in our beloved city, 50 meters can mean $100K difference in house price as well. Sounds like you have got onto a good thing

"Rent $170 Single - $200 Couple + $20 expenses per person Expenses include Power, water, telephone line rental, cleaning and toilet supplies."

So if single it works out at $190 per week. NOT including FOOD

* FULL board out west is around $180 upwards....... see "Western Leader"

* Overseas students pay around $180 per week as well.

Cibby - you are lucky to be paying what you are paying.

No offence taken, but your calculation of $680 for the house is a little off. This room is by far the largest room in the house. It currently has a couple in it that has there bedroom at one end and a couch tv, computer setup at the other, like there own personal lounge. Ive talked to some mates that have been recently shopping around and they looked at a lot of places that had a lot less that would have cost them a lot more (comparitivly speaking), and ive gone off what the pervious house owners told me when I brought the place as originaly they were doing exactly the same as me.

Yes I do own the house, as I said got a morgage to pay, and I set the rent on the rooms dependent on size, and I only rent out two rooms in the house out of 3.5 rooms (the .5 is my office/junk/spare room that is not big enough for anyone to pay for)
