Truck Rolled
A cattle truck loaded with 40 cattle has rolled on SH2 just south of Waimata (which is between Waihi town and the Athenree turnoff to Waihi Beach). Diversions are in place using Woodlands Rd and Old Tauranga Road.
The driver has minor injuries and two cattle died at the scene. The road is expected to be closed for a further 3 hours
If you know anyone at the Paeroa Street Racing txt them and let them know so they can take alternative routes.
