All the garages around me are usually chocker so getting to the air can be a hassle, also the valve on the rear is not that easy to lock onto with the offset angle on some of the garage handsets. I was using a cheap push bike pump to top up my tires, it crapped itself in short order.
The footpump is reasonably compact, twin piston and has a good long hose with a locking valve. Being foot powered it is considearbly easier to use than the pushie pump. It has a PSI gauge that is not to be trusted -/+10psi. Seems reasonably solid and will increase pressure by about 5 psi in around 10 pumps. All this in the comfort of your own home, what more can a man wish for?
