View Full Version : Auckland car drivers

Try as I might, I am starting to loose "the lurv" for Aucklanders.
Today some Tosser tried to rear-end me at over 100kph, then to add insult to injury as I sped off showing him the finger, he pulled off at the next junction!!! Why do Auckland car drivers do that? Why do they, when you are approaching an off-ramp at an appropriate speed, overtake you at over 100kph, only to slam their brakes on? That then forces me to filter past them at the lights and release the finger.

Because you were giving them the finger?

I blame the asians... seriously.

From what I understand (and I'm happy to be corrected here) driving in the asia region means that if you indicate to pull in then any gaps are closed so people instinctively barge their way in, I believe that this has rubbed off onto aucklanders due to the large number of asians and indians here etc....

Don't take this as racism, just saying that the way people drive in their own country seems to have moved over here with them, I believe this also explains why it's a problem mainly seen in Auckland, most other urban centres seem to be reasonably sane.

mate... the asians drive just as badly as the indians, kiwis, americans, brits, africans, polynesians, martians and everybody else. Some people aren't trained properly, some people are dumb, suicidal, murderous - and the rest are asleep. There are no boundaries here!

No, no no... We are talking "cause & effect" here.
Their shitty driving was the cause. The "Finger" was just Nature's way of rebalancing things.

So the driver that tried to rear end you was Asian????
I think part of the problem with Asian drivers is they are so intimidated by the aggressive Kiwi drivers that every time they hit the road they freakout and panic!!! How would you feel that if every time you went for a leisurely drive some angry ginga pulled up besides you and shouts: WHAT ARE YA FUCKEN DOING YA F****N SLANT EYED PRICK YOU'RE ALL OVER THE F****N ROAD!!! while trying to steer you into the armco barrier and yelling and screaming like a rapist denied parole!!!
You'd be nervous too!!!

Auckland car drivers are very friendly and polite on the roads.

The best of them are identified by their mirrors dangling down their car doors on the electrical wiring that actuates the electronic mirrors...

I had some fucknig knob that wouldn't let me merge in on Onewa road this morning.

I'm trying to move right, i've made a gap for the car in front to my right to go in, and this fucking knob just keeps comming. In the end I had to sound my horn and flip him off. he seemed to stay back then.

As bad as aisan drivers are - at least they are predidctable.
Kiwi drivers are shocking when they are bad - its like dealing with rabid cats.
Completely erratic, unpredictable and stupid.

Fuckin asian driver.
Almost as bad as that good Maori driver who was oncoming in the opposite lane. He is a good driver, managed to miss me by a few inches because he's not asian.

I'm not racist, but blablabla etc etc yadda yadda

Auckland drivers are pricks, straight up pricks thats what they are. Or is that just a result of the surplus of our slanty eyed friends....

If you approached the off-ramp at a truly appropriate speed, he wouldn't have been able to pass you.
Speed is safety on a bike, if they can't catch you they can't hit you.
PS NZ drivers are as safe as any in the world. Especially Asians. The LTNZ said so.

Thanks Lou. I will now approach off ramps at full Mach speed.

Yes, but the LTSA also says that Speed Kills, even though I thought, for all these years, that Crashing was the culprit

Yes speed can kill....if you take too much of it all at once.
