For those unaware, yesterday was Fat Tuesday (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/happy-fat-tuesday-top-10-alcohol--boobie-related-gadgets-238175.php), or Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day or whatever the hell you want to call it. Let me put on my spectacles and give a little history lesson.

Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday and the last hurrah before the start of Lent. This day has a lot of significance throughout the world, but for us in the United States, it is just another day where we can get absolutely plastered.

Fat Tuesday is also synonymous with the viewing of breasts in exchange for reward, in most cases, beads. I saw a few guys at lunchtime with dirty foreheads until one guy went pass and you saw a cross - figured it must be near that time where catholics have to give up something for lent - I always wanted to give up going to church the Gestapo (father) would have none of it!! I'm definitely very ex catholic. Very few catholics that I knew ever gave up drinking for lent!!
