How about forever? (http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,2998490a11,00.html)
Seven years, and we could be sharing the roads with this bloke again.

I don't agree with forever. Do that, people never have an incentive to get to be a beter driver. He would just drive without a licence forever.
How about a difficult graduated licencing system for drivers who have lost their licence?
Actually make it so they have to learn how to drive, and prove their ability, before they get back on the road.
It's just too easy to get a cage licence in this country.

Two days doing Vehicle recovery and when I ask for ID three of them are driving with no licence and think It's a great joke.
One can't produce a licence but hands me his passport and signs the release
in another language that I can't read.I ask him to write a release in english and suddenly he can't even speak it anymore. :not:
I reckon the best way to stop people driving if they lose their licence would be to dye their whole head with a dye that takes for ever to fade, maybe a nice glow in the dark pink.It could then be made illegal to let people with glow in the dark heads into pubs, gas stations, car parks or anywhere within one hundred meters of a public road. :msn-wink:
Or maybe we should all have to produce a licence to buy gas. After all 360,000
of us have to do it to buy amo and fire arms and they kill far less people than fuck wits in cars.
