You know who you are.

If you are one, you will understand this. And laugh. Kinda nervously. Then cry.

Because it's so true.

Had that on the lunch room wall years ago.

"Can't you just res-it-up?"

"Can you turn this guy around so he's facing the camera, not his back to it?"

Or "Can you just overprint that connecting new zealanders bit"... (in-joke)

I've spent so much time photoshoping stuff it'll be easier and cheaper to go and do another shot!

And yeah I get this all the time - 'can you make this high-res?' - high-res done - 'why is it smaller than the one I gave you?' :brick:

Actually the cartoon graphic artist reminds me of an adjoining studio to an old workplace of mine. The poor bastards were made to wear shirt and ties - fuck that the only time I wear a shirt 'n' tie is for weddings, court appearances or the wife get's kinky.....actually just the former

Hahaha... it's too true. Like those American films, where they take the grainy 320x240 security cam footage and zoom in on a 4x4px area of a man's face and `enhance' it to produce a perfect, high-resolution image. People believe it, too. Mad.

I thought security cameras were high quality cameras that capture at 1920x1200pixels but only display at 320x240. Till you zoom in. Like digital zoom cameras.

Or those magazines where everything is good looking

Hehe. I was doing an ad for a client once who had a really nice photo for the background, but unfortunately there was a person blocking a good chunk of it. 'Can't you just lift the person off in Photoshop so it'll show the background behind?' he asked....

I'm just learning Photoshop in a graphics class. Just on the basics at the moment. But it does seem to lend itself to a bit of humour in the right hands.

Yeah, when people see shows like CSI etc bring up a suspect's face from a black screen, what do you expect? I had someone send me a photo that was about 2cm wide and only about 10 pixels wide... and wanted it blown up to A4. Certainly - no problem!

That is really a great and appropriate cartoon - I know exactly what that is like - I love photoshop. - It certainly has changed the the 'camera does not lie' statement.
Check out my custom SV (Photoshop of course0 but a great way to see what will work before airbrushing etc.
