Yep you cheeky buggar. Would rather see Chris on his own bike that would give me more pleasure than running it in for him, and Im still trying to get the hang of the Aprilia. I was more than happy to bring my bike up here, but it made sense (yes I know settle down) that with an 800km trip planned this weekend, I should get those kms on the ZX10. More than happy to hand it back and see the happiness on Chris' face with his new beast. Cant wait for his leg to come right completely, its poetry to watch him riding

Hey Rona,

You lucky sod :)

I enjoyed my test ride on one of those immensely. Nearly bought one in black
but as you know I stuck to a new black GSX1400 which I am enjoying too.

Was sorely tempted to go the ZX1400 route, nice bike.

Must go for a squirt around the Coro loop with ya some time soon.

Hey Paul - Your review that helped to push me this way. And yes we are due for a ride soon. I loved the 12 but once I rode the 14...it was a no contest.

You're a brave man! Friends got one and I've seen it ridden in anger - rear wheel smokin sideways into turns, then spinning up on the way out. Bloody impressive. I took it for a spin and remember seeing something like 260kph...in 4th ! Effortless wheelies until the cows come home.
Take care and enjoy it. I haven't seen a red one, looks great. I think that might be a new shade of red from Kawasaki?

Thanks MD. Theres no doubt this baby will rock if I ask it to. And from time to time I will give it shit at the odd track day and drag meet. The great thing about this bike is that I dont have to be bent over with my legs tucked up under my chin to do it. I had a 12 before this and even though that was a big bike...I still felt like I was doing a yoga class while riding it. Not to mention...the kids and Mrs feel comfortable 2 up as well.

Clive-I loved the Tuono and would by one in a heartbeat.

I even 'thought' about getting it and the 14...but my wife said something along the lines of "You got a @@@%$$#nerve #$%$% even %^%$9 asking for #$%%$@ one bike you $%%^&* bla bla bla" ....

It was the two up ability of the 14 that did it.

 I've never met you mate but I have visions of a big Island boy trying to make himself as small a target as possible when the wife goes off. Yep the Tuono aint pillion friendly at all. I'm renewing my love for 4 cyclinders at the moment. Sounds like the big ZX is just the thing for you BB.

Not me mate, Just the got the ole X11 at the moment and nothing left to take off that, mind you I kind of like some of the stuff on NZ Streetfighter, so you just never know. Could be just an unmarked patch of new seal away..
