That is a helluva price for a 13 year old 250, even though it is very tidy.

The kms are getting up there. Their just taking advantage of the booming 250 market at the moment, kinda sounds like the Auckland housing market.

Its also a good way to see what people may pay (without actually selling) have ie feeling the market...

Cost him 20 bucks to feel out the market, when all he has to do is look at what else is listed, at what price and find out how quickly they are changing hands. It is a nice bike...but for 7.5k there is no way it is a good buy.

A classic line from a classic movie - The Castle

"Dad, there is a guy selling some jousting sticks"
"How much does he want for them?"
"$50"
"He's dreamin'"

44,000 on a 250 no matter the servicing etc and 13 years old?
He's dreamin'

I'd want twice that for my nine year old 250.

Yea he's probably just starting strong, but it is a very nice tidy bike, even for a honda:bleh:

likely wanting his money back on the 98 fuel he poured down its gullet.
he also mentions its not recommended for learners...its a 250. if a 250 aint safe for a learner, what is?

Something that isn't so vicious in its power delivery.
Something that doesn't require maintainence every time it is ridden.
Something that's a four stroke.

Last time I checked it is a 4-stroke, someone correct me if i'm wrong............

A race tuned Aprilia RS250 - mmmmm - ridden properly it can embarrass some bigger bikes.

The CBR250RR can be ridden gently but takes a bit of practice coz you've got these 4 tiny little pistons jumping up and down and not really delivering a lot of torque most of the time. You need to dance on the gear shift to get the best out of them - not as narrow a power band as a 150 2 smoker though and no where near the performance of a race replica 250 2 smoker:drool:

Looks real nice but hes dreaming. Also insurance is bad enough for me riding a bike worth half what he wants.

Correct me if Im wrong but I was under the impression that any thing less than 100% on a wof was a fail.

i love the "can keep up with r6 and gsxr6 round corners' comment. Hell. I know of a certain CX500 that came off the arc that can keep up with bigger bikes round certain corners.

Outrageous price. Anyone who pays it is going to be very disappointed in a couple of months time.
