Hi,
this is my first post on these forums - hopefully I am using the right forum/language/knowledge .......
I fell in love with a '76 Honda CB750 Supersport and I am happy with it at the moment (made a trip from Tauranga to Napier and back around the East cape) but I am probably not up to the challenges that such an old bike will come up with.
Is there anyone here on these forums (in the Tauranga area) who I can ask for help with such a bike and who is willing to help with tips and maintenance/repair work?
Thanks,
Michael

Kricky would have thought one of the old & respected hands would have welcomed you, and answered your Q;
Just Post your Q's, there are some on here that I am sure will answer, why not post a pic of your bike.
Look on Johnbouys thread and you will see he is doing some work on his.

Hey,
This is one of the best forums I've seen for technical info - the guys on here really know their stuff. Ex Honda mechanics and some old school race mechanics on here that used to work on the CR750's as well. Like Crack says - show us a pic if you get chance. I'm not in the area but happy to help if I can, bikes in bits at the mo.

Many thanks for the replies.
Will try to make and post photos soon. Since English is not my native language, I am very much struggling to understand the written help/descriptions on the various websites yet - but I will not give up.
I will try to contact 2much in a private email to see whether I can come over to TePuke just to show what I have and to make contact.
Cheers,
Michael

If you are needing any serious work done, or anything that you don't want to tackle yourself, go see Ian Johnson at The Motorbike Shop (behind GP Honda in MacDonald Street, Mt Maunganui).
