Well pack up on the Friday night head on off to Manfield Saturday Morning with Dad,

Get to the the track go get my garage key come back help unload put bike on the stand chuck the tire warmers on get my licence and go and sign on,
Muck around a bit go to riders breifing which went for ever,

First practice:

Well first time I had riden bike since I had hardened suspension up
putting some laps in and then get to the hairpin fully commited to corner suspension felt real rigid and run off the track get back on again pull into pits go back to my garage soften the suspension off go back out,
Much better, Into Higgens Gregor Stevens passes me so I decide to follow a fast guy for one lap and chuck in a real good qualifying time full noise down the back straight into the sweeper hit the bump which picks bike up and sends it off into the grass hang on again get out and keep going,

Then as I was revving full throttle it would cut out up top,
Come back to pits let dad know and we change the Jetting,

Qualifying 2:

Head back out to improve my times and qualify well humming along clutch starts slipping constantly pull into pits and let dad know he adjusts the freeplay for me hoping its only that go back out for it only to get worse into the pits I come and still qualifyed 17th out of 19 bikes.

Pull bike apart to find a cooked clutch all the steels turned blue and warped,
Go over and see Glen who has a spare clutch there we chuck that in bike issue still not sorted.
Scratching our heads we wonder what it could be so we went and saw Paul Cook who sold us some new clutch steels as Glens ones are Aluminum and are thinner than myne Chuck the new steels in everything feels good.

Race 1:

Tire Warmers come off,
Drop front stand put fuel tap to on drop rear stand click bike into second pull clutch in push it get some speed drop clutch for the clutch not to disengage
Dad quickly adjusts it for me still no luck
In a shitty I throw my golves into my garage and remove my helmet carefully as that helmet is toooooooo cool to throw
So went down and watched my brother race and was really impressed.

After race Steve Ward helped me fix it thanks alot................................

Sunday Scrub session:

Get on bike and start it....................Yes the clutch is working
Head out to scrub follow my brother test the clutch and pull in.
Park bike up and run up stand still with helmet on and watch the last of it

Race 2:

Well a shitty start into turn one last,
Pass Paul Cook and chase my brother and on lap 6 make a dive on him around the outside at the hairpin hoping to get a good drive and slip stream him down the straight, then all I hear is brap brap and see his 125 sliding on its side at me I pick my bike off and run off the track sliding on the grass for about 15 seconds before I regain the track to continue racing look back and see my brother picking his bike up, Sweet he is ok
Now last on the track I must push like crazy , Slowly start reeling Paul in but just couldnt catch him if I had an extra 10 laps I would have been sweet as and caught him,
So last place sucked got back to the garage grabbed a drink talked to dad aout bike and helped my brother out with repairing his bike,
He hurt his hand pretty bad and wrecked his helmet, and his exact words the momment he got back to the pit were,
Im going out in the next race.

Then Jason (Vtec) lent him a wrist strap thanks for that mate,

Third and Final race:

Line up on the grid again, Another shocking start and poor choice of line into turn 1 relocates me back to second to last, Chasing Paul around all racewas fun dived up the inside of him at the hairpin but lost my drive onto the Straight and he passed me lost lots of ground and on final lap just tapped brakes going into the sweeper and made all the ground back up but not enough to pass him but enough to make me happy to crank wheelstands at the end

Thanks to:
Mum and dad
Paul Cook
Steve Ward
Glen Skachill
Sam Flynn
Hamish Laing

All these people helped a alot over the weekend with parts and helping sort the bike

Yeah Ivan good stuff. I could see you in qualifying on the lap you ran off, you were flying. I reckon you were on for a 1.19. Oh well, maybe next time. Are you coming up to Puke?

Well what a weekend

Never expected my brother to be so fast. Im really happy for him with the way he rode If he didnt crash he had me I would not have heard the end of it.

Did anyone else notice from the stands how fast his bike was down the straights.
