Me M109 has plenty of shiny reflective chrome on her already but after seeing a pic on the M109Riders.com site of one with chrome rims.... Well looks ideal. Anyone got any idea what something like that would sting me and if anyone can recommend someone in the south island to get the job done it would be much appreciated.
Actually M109 mods and alterations to pimp it out would be cool.
The sad thing is I have had it for 7 months and have only put 3000km on it. Feels still quite tight.

try accord electroplaters chch, or plating solutions chch, dude if you chrome the wheels tell the chromer he must place more anodes on the the rear problems with chrome taking to the spokes on the rim due to it,s size , m109riders.com guys in the states have found this problem, it may pay to read the threads on that site and you can tell the chromer of the problems, dude it can be done hate to see you send money out and you have to have it done twice , if you get it down post the pics, good luck dude

:gob: you could be right, but no recalls on the m109, harley had a recall in 1943, and they hav'nt changed a thing since then lol

didn,t know my rims were plastic , have to watch my speed they may well melt, shit same as rocker covers and exhaust, oh your taking about the 3 items that are chrome plastic , the light housing, speedo cover and techo, we all no that the fenders are plastic ,great if you have to replace them, and they don,t rust, at $19000 value for money its a hole lot of bike and it does not need a full pit crew behind it with a trailer in cause it stop runing, the 9 keep going and going and going faster and harder
Hey no sweat I have no issue with Asian copy bikes. The Chinese are very good at it i hear.

Well said. The 109 is very good value for money. Any more actual metal and crome would push its considerable 320 odd kgs through the roof and make it loose its sports cruiser feel.
