As the topic says. I've looked at Repco and Placemakers and the highest I can find is 1200 Wet/Dry paper.

I live in East Auckland, any ideas where I could go?

Engineers Merchants.
Blackwoods/Paykels in Carbine Rd Mt Wellington
Probably a few in East Tamaki too.

Wet & Dry (Silicon carbide) is available up to 2000grit. Not many increments past 1200, maybe goes from 1200 - 1500 - 2000 from memory.

Next to none - I want to use it to remove scratches on my front sprocket cover , clutch plate cover (not sure of 'official' names) and a couple of other small areas so probably one sheet would do it i'd say

Most paint suppliers have it by the sheet.

If youre only after a small amount, try the local hobby shops. Will cost a fair amount but they should have it.

As someone above stated 1500 and then the next one is 2000 grit.

Available from 3M, I'm not sure who they supply it to. You could ask them 0800 200 712 - Product #401Q, wet on dry.

Or get the buy above here to post some :)
