i just brought a 98 zx9r. Even though I am really quite shit at wheelies the biek does all the work for me. Really nice to ride quick too. So light and soooo much power. Had a 600F before this one so big change.

I doubt you could get a 98 zx9r for 5k would you mate?

Likewise with a TL, they are still fetching 7k + ...........

Ya might have to fork out a little more coin to get the machine you desire.
My money would be a TL or VTR, and actually there are VTR's out there that are reasonably priced too.........

Put $5k deposit down on an MV Brutale R. It's a wheelie demon (ask Poos, it was a bit too much bike for him so he had to do them in 4th to be safe). As for corners, well you'll have to ask Dover. Twilight Road was the Twilight Zone for the poor lad. Sports bikes.... pftttttt.

No way in hell are you gonna get it corner as well as your cbr did, these bikes are 220kg+ dry. where a cbr250rr is maybe 140kgs dry

The wheel base is alot longer, but they are awsome bike to ride, my old 96 1100, went like a cut cat, was a handful thru the real tight stuff, but once ya back out on more open stuff, was great
