Full throttle Motorcycles in Pukekohe have an 06 demo. It's worth going out there as they are located basically at the start of 22 and that gives you heaps of options for riding it.
I took it out recently and really liked it, found it to be quite free revving in comparison to the Honda, was up round 12 grand all the time :innocent: , tipped in nicely and sounded pretty cool. Defenitely worth a ride.
Not gonna trade the Honda though.....wasn't that good!

hey C - why aren't you after a thousand? Serious question.

You called all the usual yama dealers??
Or there's always a private bike if you're serious bout buying. I reckon this is the pick of the 600's on trademe.

So in other words after the next nationals... Cheers girly girl, will try Puke and ask for a ride....
No where near ready for racing a thousand... Cant handle 105-125hp let alone 180+hp. Dont want a second hand bike... I want a fresh motor that i know im not going to have to rebuild and can trust...

Did you take one out? Keen to hear what you thought, considering my ramblings are somewhat amateur in comparison to your thoughts on the bike !

It's great: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=42007
Utterly brilliant.
But in the real world..? I guess when you ride one, (Around some proper corners anyway) I have no doubt you'll want one very very badly.
Just ride the K6 GSXR600/750 as well and consider the comfort in relation to how your are actually going to use the bike.
Then again, maybe you will find it more comfortable than I did.

Just hurry up and get one so you can go race with the likes of Sam Smith etc instead of being on the same lap as them.
