OK - it's a twin, it's been crashed but it could be fixed if you were REALLY keen but - it's never going to be pretty (I doubt it was to start with)

Rego is on hold, has a new battery, it still runs (motor seems good) and everything seems to work.

This was the GPX (or whatever) that I found on top of the Canadian guy on the Paekakareki Hill road a few weeks back. He does not want it as he has no way of fixing it here in NZ. It went into the bank backwards and the packrack took most of it. Tail light is munted and indicator, exhaust (off bike), the alloy plate the footests attach to and a bunch of other stuff is all rooted (left side)....

I'll send a picture to anyone thats REALLY keen and it will be on trademe by the end of the week. Please note - I'm not shipping it and not listing all its faults because I would be here forever, it has accident damage on top of accident damage but it has been an OK bike at some time. I reckon the guy fell off because it had sat for 5 years before he rode it and the tyres are hard as heck (plenty of tread though).

Fair warning - this bike was in an accident. You need to inspect it yourself and make sure it's what you want. I could be fixed but it's will take a lot of time and effort. PM me if you want more info...

Best Regards

Raumati south near wellington.

It says 45,000 on the clock from memory but who really knows. It fires up really easy and is mechanically quite nice (no rattles and bangs). (well quieter than my old Triumph) My whole experience of the thing is it laying down in a ditch on top of a canadian. I'm disposing of it as a favour to him and I know bugger all about it other than it's taking up space in my garage and it owes me money... :innocent:

I can send a picture if you pm me your email addy.

No problem - but I just want this out of my life and a result for all the people involved. Give it a few weeks and i'll pay you to take it away.. or not..

I was going to turn it into a sprinter for the Wairarapa Sprints but I think I'd end up looking like I was taking advantage of the owners situation so it's best if we put it on trademe and let the market decide what it's worth. Certainly there is a gap between what I think it would cost to repair and what others do so be warned - if you are considering this bike - get someone to come look at it. I'm already out of pocket over this thing and I want a clean trade with no comebacks....
