Like when he was sponsored by Repsol? Or Camel? Or Gauloises?
All the oil you can use? All the stinky fags you can smoke?

I doubt that he cares, as long as the bikes go well and his paychecks keep rolling in...

Heh... I was watching "Faster" on the weekend. In the off-season one year, Vale went rallying: "I have-ah the little bit-ah trouble weeth a tree".
Camera pans to tree, minus a bit of bark on one side, then to car, minus the right-front wheel, and with a sizeable dent in the right front and engine compartment.
Oops...

Does Vale always look like he's on drugs?

Nice hottie in the background.

Saw it posted on another forum as well. FIAT are a massive company with 85% holding in Ferrari, as pointed out. The bikes look awesome. Still be easy to pick him out with the yellow on his leathers.

Now why can't Yammy make something as beautiful as that (Pf's piccy), and not the flashy pointy stuff that they cart out in the form of R6's and R1's. It doesn't have to be CF...

Yeah. So, how come Rossi gets to hang around in shirt and jeans while the hottie has to wear close cut race leathers unzipped just enough to...

Oh, hang on. I get it now.

The bold pattern on his hat helps a lot. The fine detail on the other helmets makes them all look the same when they're going past at 320 or so.

He was sponsored by Nastro Azzurro beer a while back - not a bad drop, actually....

apparently the sillouette of the M1R and 06 R6 are almost identical, pity the similarities dont continue on to all angles and lighting arrangements!

OK, so why doesnt the M1 have a new name? aye M8...
And why doesnt the GP bike have undertail exhausts? Or why does the road bike need them? Why can't the R1 have a similiar pipe design to the race bike?
:innocent:

Hmmm, Yamaha pulling the wool since 1985.....

An arguement I've heard is it is to do with noise and emmission control. For example Suzuki's bulky heavy std system with twin pipes, or the smaller mufflers of the R1/ZX10/CBR but longer piping, hence the underseat route.

Does this mean Rossi's Yamaha will start shedding parts and rusting?

Toyota had a high stake in Yamaha a few years back, I don't know what the story is now.

Toyota and Yamaha made a capital alliance in the year 2000 where Toyota paid Yamaha Corporation 10.5 billion yen for a 5 per cent share in Yamaha Motor Company while Yamaha and Yamaha Motor each bought 500,000 shares of Toyota stock in return. Source: Wikipedia
