Hey Everyone,

After hanging around these forums for about a month now, and bugging everyone about Rs250 info, CBR info etc I have finally made a purchase and pick it up over the next few days.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=90533366&key=54125

Its probably the most expensive one I have seen but when you see the bike, its amazing. Everything on the bike looks brand new (I was a little sceptical at first as I thought hmmm, maybe just fairings and dash etc had been replaced after a crash, but every part of the bike looks brand new, even under the fairings. Im not sure if its possible for a bike that old to have so few k's, but it sure looks like it. It rides like a new bike too. I have riden a few vtrs, other CBRs and an RS250... and this one feels like new.
They are also throwing in a helmet for free (Not a cheap one either), and Im going to spend about $700 on a set of starter gear. (Hopefully thats enough, obviously excluding helmet)
I would like to thank you all for your patience in answering my questions over the last month and the help has been so valueable. I look forward to meeting some of you and joining in on rides etc in the future.

Thanks again

Clinton (Vapor)

Glad you got two wheels to begin your exciting new viewpoint on life! I think you'll eventually kit yourself out more then the $700, but at least you got the right idea - give Quasi a lookup, great gears for a good price.

Wow, does look flash - just remember to keep it rubber side down and keep practicing the necessary bikey skills (situational awareness, emergency stops, basic maintenance routines etc. al!)

Have a nice pootle!:niceone:

Picked the bike up tonight :)

Yay! Rode it all the way upto Orewa from Takapuna.. not exactly the most pleasant conditions.

I am so happy with it tho. It handled the winds really well (A few little scary gusts) but other than that.. I could'nt be happier.

CBR250RRs are an awesome bike. Im loving it.

Thanks to all for the help and advice. ;)

Hopefully see you all around
