Don't I know it, if he lived anywhere near a race track he'd be there 24/7 fuel supplies permitting. :pinch: and I'm sure you're quite harmless really WT LOL

Is EVERY accident caused by a silly silly boy, teenager or amatuer? Maybe he/she had a front blowout, maybe he/she hit a pothole, maybe he/she has just been smited by god, who knows!

I would hate to have an ACCIDENT, and have people make fun of / insult my riding afterwards.

Sorry Stone'. Watch the vid.

Performing acts like that, you fall off mid stunt, you deserve all the arseholes you get.

It's a "Stunter" from the states and I'll bet he's trying a high speed wheelie without changing his tyre pressure from low speed wheelies earlier in the day.

Cabbage.

Er. Watch the video. I don't think a front blowout would have caused too much harm at that point.

maybe he/she has just been smited by god

Probably deserved it, if so.

I've never had a moment on the road where I thought "Ahh fuck, this is it!"

Maybe I've developed when I can feel is enough and back off. If it feels wrong instantly, I'll abort the mission and try later.

I used to think I was good at high speed wheelies 'till riding with Death. Getting blown sideways by a 40knot cross wind, I'm wobbling all over the place for 100 meters, hes travelling at 140kph, for 1.5 kms! STANDING UP!

Maybe he's just a bit heavier than me...

Your bike is the easiest bike to wheelie I've evr ridden. If you don't feel comfortable on that, don't try it on anything else.

its more me, i think more i think just that i never really been shown or told how to do them correctly, i mean my brother in law does them all the time, but when i ask him, he said all he does he just bangs it down the gear box until it comes up, and that doesn't really help me very much

All i can think after watching that is that one day that is going to happen to me, does this mean i'll stop trying to wheelie, no!

I'm also saving for a back protecter, and the steering damper stays on the TL

BUT after getting the bike started and riding for about 10 minutes i couldnt help but start doing them again

I've had a couple of close one's landing wheelies.......mostly on the 12 but I've had a couple on the gixx too, usually when playing with 1 footers/handers or in crosswinds......

Crosswinds  that kinda stuff has me hiding in a dark corner, guess that's one bonus of not living in welly anymore.

Yeah - good point. Maybe I just need to actually put in a bit of effort. I would be 'nice' to be able to wheelie off the throttle though!
