Please dont send the straightjackets just yet I am completely sane just always asking and wanted your opinions
No, not insane, but possibly asking questions based on just part of the knowledge we already have.

The Global crust, or Techtonic Plates are continously moving, That's why we have earthquakes. Now imagine a plate that is moving at just 5 cm per year relative to a neighbouring plate. How far do you think it would move in 100,000,000 years? It would be about 5,000 km, or about the distance New Zealand is from the South pole. Double that time frame (still a short period in the earth's history) and its the distance from the south pole to the equator.
So yes, the plates will move again, tonight, tomorrow and the day after. And every day to come.

Occassionally there will be a massive single shift. The likely cause being a collision with a comet or large asteroid. If that happens I wouldn't be too worried as we won't be around the next day to be concerned.

Ok a little random here but who has heard of it?And when will it happen again?

Well, I for one hope that it does not happen again for a very very long time. I still haven't fully gotten over the last one, very disconcerting. I really can't be having with shifting crusts at my time of life.

Lets have a nice mug of cocoa instead.

You're the ape that built the pyramids and ate the pi, aren't you.You gave youself away with the cocoa reference.I've seen you on a breakfast cereal box.

But as mr einstein pointed out when the polar caps melt....look at the north its all bout gone...then our planet that wobbles anyway..will get bottom heavy and oops there goes the overnight landslide on a scale that noone alive can possibly imagine.I am not a genius but I do know our planet has been wiped out several times I figure we best make the most of it now.It will happen again .

How does a celestial body (the Earth) orbiting in gravitational equilibrium, get "bottom heavy"
Shows a lack of understanding physics

I figured it would be beyond some of the more simple minded folk

I love it when people who are into wacky pseudoscience or conspiracy theories say that.

Well, cosmoloists tell us that the world is supported by four elephants, on the back of the Transcendant Turtle.

It is hypothosised by learned savants that every so many million years, one of the elephants has to take a crap. When that happens the world teeters, as the elephant squats down. The result is a massive global wobble.

I find it much better to go with simple scientific facts rather than complex conspicracy theories.

Piffle!
The four Hefferlumps of the Apocolips would obviously slide off the Transcendent Turtle's back because of the transcendental turtle wax.

The plates don't move - they are stacked. Otherwise the dishwasher cant clean them properly.

I thought thats where the Counter Weight Continent comes in?

I thought thats where the Counter Weight Continent comes in?

Well Duh, EVERYONE knows that. They teach it in wacky world studies at primary school.

Read The Stones of Power series by David Gemmel.

Book 1 Ghost King (http://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Stones-Power-David-Gemmell/dp/0345379020/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-0868380-0477525?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173477783&sr=1-1)
Book 2 Last Sword of Power (http://www.amazon.com/Last-Sword-Power-Stones/dp/0345416848/ref=pd_bbs_2/104-0868380-0477525?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173477783&sr=1-2)
Book 3 Wolf in Shadow (http://www.amazon.com/Shadow-Stones-Power-David-Gemmell/dp/0345416856/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3/104-0868380-0477525?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173477783&sr=1-3)
Book 4 Last Guardian (http://www.amazon.com/Guardian-Stones-Power-David-Gemmell/dp/0345379004/ref=sr_1_12/104-0868380-0477525?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173477783&sr=1-12)

Also this one that follows the main charictar from the last two books but not really part of the series and ties in to book 2:
Bloodstone (http://www.amazon.com/Bloodstone-Shannow-Adventure-David-Gemmell/dp/0345407970/ref=sr_1_1/104-0868380-0477525?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1173478108&sr=1-1)

Somethig like the above happens and the bulk of the story takes place afterwards and it links Atlantis and King Arthur in aswell.
