He had a car driver pull out in front of him yesterday, I don't know all the details but he has been in hospital since and will be for about another week.

He went over the top of his bike, the bike is more then likely going to be a write off, It's pretty muchly in pieces :bye: . His knee sounds pretty munted, possibly needing surgery.

All I can say is, I'm glad it's the bike that will be written off, not him!!

Get well soon Seraph

Bummer dude :( Sorry to hear about that. Yet another "car pulls out in front of bike", bloody blind cage drivers... What sort of bike was he on if it wasn't the KR?

Sounds like he was lucky, a few milliseconds later and he might not have gone over the bonnet

I second what has been said above, although it may not seem like it at the moment you got off good mate :). That type of crash could have ended up way worse off.
So glad your ok mate, heal soon!

No problem. BTW, should you ever meet one , and wish to ascertain whether it is a cherub or a seraph, the distinction is simple. Cherubs have four wings, seraphs six. I thought you would want to know that.

(Oh, by the way - they are entirely asexual)

So does asexual come just before bisexual? Or is that just someone's Australian accent?

Hey all just got home!! Thanks for all the comments of support & hope of a fast recovery!
On another note, The boys in blue have decided that I was the cause of the accident, based on the fact I was traveling to fast for what i was doin (passing stationary traffic in the same lane (it's wide enuf 2 to have 2 cars driving side by side with room to spare..) under the speed limit!!) seems the fact that I was on a main road and the wanker who pulled out had a give way sign is irrelevant...something about not paying due care and attention.....if the other fuck had been paying due care and attention how the fuck could he have not seen me?!?!!? arg!! seems a tad suspect to me....
sorry.

thanks again

Seraph.

Glad you are home . You are (were) on a motorcycle. So you are automatically in the wrong. Remember, cars don't have to give way to motorcycles.

sucks to hear dude. What were the details? where did it happen how fast were you going etc etc etc maybe you can get a second opinion I know of others who have hired an independant crash investigator and told the police are wrong, don't know wheather its worth it to you but its always an option. were there witnesses ? the cops may have heard only thier side of the story or the fact that some cages will just say the bikes in the wrong. If he was on a give way then you gotta give way, simple as that! There must be other ways to get it sorted to. Least you up and about and typing. heal up quick!

after re-reding the roadcode I see how I was legally in the wrong...In the end it was just a wrong place, wrong time situation...5 seconds later i'd have been fine..ohwel...11 weeks rehab to go...
