Yah bollox - that's just new product rolling off the end of the Honda production line.

They pick up the minor faults at the "Final Inspection" stage.

Judging by the lack of damage anywhere else, I'd say that's what happens when you drop the front from 11o'clock onwards

My wife told me half an hour ago that she saw this happen to a parked scooter on hereford st in christchurch. a piece of scaffolding came down on it from about four or five floors up. She couldn't find anybody to report it to but will try again tomorrow.

Poor bikes :-(

Do you think Big Dave will ever tell us what happened?
Or is that how they come in the carton from Japan.

I've figured it out!!!
If you'll notice the pillion seat is on, then notice the lack of rear foot pegs.

So... The only logical conclusion is.... the owner likes 'em plump, but this time his eyes were too big for his...erm...bike:yes:

The large ballast weight snapped the pegs off and fell forward, putting all his\her weight on the riders arms, which promtly gave way, they both fell forward then, and all this weight was too much for poor wee CBR's head stock to take.

It is clearly the first stage of a raked-out fireblade/chopper converstion.
The ape-hangers are on the way...

I am serious.
The scaffolding is beside the Telecom exchange on the north side of Hereford st, lots of damage to the scooter as it was one of those big scaffolding floors that came off in the wind.

I don't know what happened to the bike posted up the top though

thehollowmen

actually, looking at the damage, could that be the result of a stoppie then hitting something?
