Kawasaki is giving sneak previews of an important new bike - and we’re convinced it’s the new ZX-6R.

The firm is using a dedicated website to start spreading the word - but is not yet revealing what the new bike it is. Our investigations suggest it is a new ZX-6R.

The firm will be launching its 2005 range at the end of August and the updated ZX-6R is expected to take centre stage.

The preview site shows a very brief glimpse of the outline of the new bike. On it we’ve spotted:

underseat exhausts.

a new swingarm.

wavey brake discs.

new bodywork

How unoriginal of them. Spreading the word that they intend to release a new model of a bike next year. Excuse my ignorance but haven't all the makers been "releasing new models" yearly, so whats new? Sort of like the Sun annoucing its going to rise in the mornings and set in the evenings from now on.

Actually - most manu revise their models and bring out ground up bikes 2 yearly. The one after the new one is usually just a facelift bike with a new paint job etc. So this is kinda newish news
