A motorbike taxi driver in Phnom Penh, Vietnam learned "never trust a journalist" when he was hired to take one home and says he found himself being robbed of his motorbike at gunpoint by the reporter and his wife.

Journalist Sok Soeun and his wife hired motor taxi driver Ngam Pros to take them to their house. During the trip the pair asked the driver to stop and pulled out an object that resembled a gun. Sok Soeun then allegedly told the motorbike taxi driver to get off the bike and sped away with his wife on the back.

"We arrested the couple shortly afterwards in possession of Ngam Pros's motorbike," Serious crime squad chief Pek Cheng said. "When we arrested him, Sok Soeun claimed he was a correspondent for the Ponleusamaki (Light of Unity) newspaper in Kampong Speu and pulled out a press card."

Now I'd never considered using a press pass like that! And I don't think I ever will...
