All in all, my little red hornet can't be beat,
Ready to take on other rider's heat!

I think we should get this thread back on the rails.

The Hornet is a great bike. I had the 250 for my L and R. Its performance is excellent and handling brilliant. Because I had such a great experience in the learning/development phase, I decided to go with the full McCoy when I had no restrictions. I now have a 918cc Hornet. It is great and I have no regrets.

I am sure there are other bikes out there that perform better BUT I am really pleased with my decision and have no regrets.

Mine must be the *SUPER* full McCoy at 919cc's then ;)

I found its a frightening bike to own ....
when you're screamng along at insane speeds, often the litre club are frightened by the hornets :nya:

excellent bike for around town pootling, extremely torquey motors. Doesn't accelerate like crazy, so losing your license isn't as easy.

Don't like how the front and rear seem to act independently when pushing it a bit more, but it could be the suspension being slushy for me. Easy to peg too, if you feel like it :mellow:
