Hey everyone

Just thought I best post and say a hi. I am a new rider/member to KB, but am very used to this site LOL. My partner is Phoenixgtr, and after sitting on the sideline watching him, I decided it was time for me to learn to ride to.
Just brought a Bandit 250 (Affectionatly known as Jessie) but for the next few month you will prob see Phoenix on it more then me, as he waits for his restricted time to be up so his ZX6R can come out of the shed. In fact he is out on it right now!
Look forward to getting out and riding more, especially when we move to Chrsitchurch and I dont have to stress about hill starts!! (Any tips gladly accepted):yes:

good on you for getting your own ride, just keep on practising & ride your own ride at a level you are comfy with & find yourself progressing each time.
Guess we'll see you in Chch sometime soon. Keep practising those hill starts- we have hills too! they are the fun bits to ride.
When you guys get here arrange for a drinks night so you can get to meet some of the locals-(we must be over due for drinkies night) over & done with. Good luck with the move!

Well went out for a ride with Phoenix today (He was on the 6R and loving it) and I only stalled 3 times! Still getting use to it so I'm happy with that. Went round oriental parade, and round to Island Bay from kilbirnie, so that was good, and finally starting to lean a lot better. Feeling a lot happier about riding, but wont get to do much once we get to Blenhiem and phoenix has to leave the 6R there!! Give me time to sort out all my gear...

Awesome! I got a hill start off on my second attempt! The first one I just didnt get the timing quite right, but at least I feel like a can actually do it, though there aint all that many hills in chch for me to practice on....
