wow, what can i say - its been an eventful last couple of days for me
as some of the welly crew know i've been slowly getting sick of my job especially this tuesday (was such a great morning too...)
well..... Grub offered me a job, i sort of joked about and didnt seriously think i would want it - i just wanted to see what it was basically. anyways i met with his boss yesterday and well apparently the job is mine if i want it. Pay is good - they will match my current pay and give me a raise after a month
the "downside": the downside is its in Kapiti - around the area behind the airport so this means i'd be doing a commute over haywards and paekakariki hills twice a day - this i have no problem with but i'd be just a little more excited if it was the start of summer not winter.....
on top of all this i got talking to AJ last night, he has some rooms available to rent in his new flat in newlands - I need a garage to keep the new bike in anyway so I guess i'll be moving outta home too :Punk:
change and opportunities are in the air but do i have the balls to go and grab them? :eek5:

The one question when faced with opportunity, is will you regret NOT taking them?

Awesome mate!!
I say go for it. If you think you'll be happier at the new job then do it. Plus moving out of home is a good step. Life begins after that

Just do it. You will learn in your new job. Your riding skills will improve - and what a way to start and end the day - on ya bike. Change your attitude to positive on the travelling side of things. Moving out of home - yet another freedom.

Do it! Totally do it!
Nothing better than moving out of home especially if you have a job already.
There is no good reason to not do it :)

Newlands to Kapiti every day is against the flow of commuter traffic Wasp. You'll be right.
You'll get a bit of salt spray over the 636 though!

Maybe go the whole hog and look at Kapiti flats too, they're cheaper and the weather is at least 2 degrees warmer. There might even be some KBers on the Kapiti coast looking for flatmate (no offence AJ, just a time & distance thing)
And yes, you do have to "do it" :)

Bloody good on you Wasp! :sunny:
So many people wish for a change, or a break of some kind - very few actually realise when its given to them...

Life likes to throw up little challenges - the thing to remember is that the first time overcoming an obstacle is always the hardest. It might be hard at the time but once you've overcome something you've grown as a person and can move on to bigger challenges in life.
