Well, I've read allot of the 'draggin jeans' threads and DH and I have pretty much come to the conclusion we'll be buying a pair. However, instead of buying from the USA site, I would like to buy from the AU site as there is a greater selection.

So, question is for the ladies, what do you think of their styles? Do they fit well? The US site only shows men-type cuts and 'mom style' jeans. I'm 5'3" 110 and in shape. I don't want to be cramped, but I want to look good! I like boot cut, but NOT flare leg.

I'm looking at the Traffic style, I want the amor in the knees too.

These are the Traffic
http://www.flexegate.com.au/stores/djstore/images/items/traffic_women.jpg

They allow for ce armor. From looking at the site, the only style in women's that allows for armor.

Hmmm...

mstriumph, I'm kinda thinking the pants fit like Levis 518s/519s. What do you think?

Reckon chicks would look pretty hot in some of the jungle green camo ones.

Those would be cool. I'd love some cargo pants too.

Unfortunately I'm trying to match some jeans to go with my barely a year old Fox Creek Leather jacket. DH has caught onto my plan of trying to sneak a new not so cruiser leather jacket and I can't really get away with it! :D

This morning DH and I put in our order. I went with the Skins in blue and he went with the Traffic in blue.

I sure hope the 6 will fit ok. I wear 5s in Levis and I was concerned the 8s would be too big. I better keep my butt in shape!

Can wait for them to arrive!

let us know how you get on with fit etc.. if you have no luck, Quasi is bringing out some jeans like draggins soon and has special ladies models and sizes... which i'm going to try on when they arrive....

Oh cool!!! I've been kinda looking at a pair of Shift ones that I can get for about $100. Anyone have any of these, or heard anything about them?

A friend and I were in motomail this week and tried on the new bootcut ladies dragon jeans (sorry don't know the style name). She's a size 10 and the size 10 dragons fit her well and looked hot. I'm just under 5'3 and am a size 7, I tried the size 6 dragons and they were pretty naff to be honest. They didn't fit well through the hips (too big, material was baggy). Good luck with your order, i'd be keen to hear how they fit when you get em.

I wear th Shift ones Trudi, yeah the boys ones not the girls ones! Interested in how cheap you can get them though...I paid about $149 (with discount I think).

Motomail outlet store had some Draggin's for around $100 when I was there on Saturday. Don't know what sizes or style they were but worth checking out for anybody in the market for some.

I went to Leather Direct in Cuba st on Friday and got a pair of the Urban Camo draggins (thanks for the tip Mrs Kendog!). My intention was to try them on then mail order the correct size more cheaply but once I'd put them on I loved them so much I had to buy them then and there, they're really comfy and they look like ordinary old street camo pants (with a bit higher waist of course, we all know exposed flesh is not a plus when riding). I've previously tried women's draggins on and they looked hideous so it was a nice surprise that these ones fit so well.

I've found that the camo draggins fit me better than any of the women's draggin jeans. But then sometimes I find that men's jeans fit me better than women's anyway... so either I'm an odd shape or they're making jeans for some very curvy guys!

I also have just purchased a pair of Draggin Jeans from Leather Direct in Cuba Street!
They are a grey/black colour (with yellow stitching) and fit very comfortably!
I am a size 8 and I find the Ladies Draggins size 8 very roomy, but comfortable. They are probably a bit more roomy than I would wear off the bike, but for riding (knees bent up) they are perfect! I don't like pants too tight across the knees when riding.:scooter:

I received an email today from Draggin' Jeans informing me they are currently out of stock and expect the next batch in about a week. So....I don't anticipate getting my jeans until 2wks from now at the earliest (after shipping):crybaby:

No kiddin', if it were the other way around, they'd be pissed!

When I sent an email on the 25th, the rep said "cards are automatically charged when orders come through". That's bologna!

How about paying a little interest on the money they're using from me? Free armored knee pads? A Tshirt? Some KY??

I understand items can be out of stock. And that's ok. However EVERY other retailer/vendor I have purchased from who had my stuff on backorder DID NOT run the charge until the item was in te box ready to ship out.

This experience is NOT good practice!

They have arrived!!! :Punk: I wish it would not have taken as long as they did, but they are here now. They also came with a set of kneepads. I thought that was cool.

The pants fit well as far as sizing goes. Matter of fact, with the masurements I sent, the rep bumped me up to a size 12 :gob: Well, ok, she knows her product better than I.

My only dislike is the waistline on the pants. It really fits awkward in that there's so much extra wideness there at the back. When I wear a belt, all is fine. However, running around without a belt made me feel like I was wearing a potato sack lol

The pant legs are definitely several inches longer than I need, but that's a totally easy alteration and I understand why companies leave the legs long. I put on the knee pads - those feel wierd! But they fit fine...and since I have short legs, the knee pads cover 70% of my legs lol

Yay glad you have them! Are the comfy to ride in? Do they shrink in the wash- were the legs left long for riding position?
LOL Know what you mean with having knee pads covering most of the legs- story of my life.

The 'gappy' thing at the back seems to be common on alot of chicks...something the designers need to work on.

Guess I am lucky cos I have a pair of the black/grey/white camo cargos and they fit me perfectly.

I came off at 30km/hr, the draggons DID NOT hold up, ripped straight away, however, if they had armour I feel they would of been alot better, but I don't think i'll buy draggons ever again.

How do the knee pads work? Is there a pocket in the jeans for them?

I just ordered a pair of the urban camo pants through motomail $249 though if I ask Mick reeeeeally nicely he might knock a few $ off the price - in light of how much money I've spent there in the last two weeks.:gob:
Tried on lots of the jeans but wasn't happy with the fit maybe the should start doing half sizes?!

Why not go to your local retailer and try a pair on. Support your local dealer or you might end up not having one...........

I have no local retailers. I have bike shops. Believe me, been there done that as far as gear shopping goes. I we even shopped in the US while on vacation for ttwo weeks and NOTHING! I live in northern Honshu (Japan), not the USA. As for supporting the bike shops here, I go often enough for supplies, I doubt they're going anywhere anytime soon with the price I pay for chain lube :gob: lol Believe me, I wouldn't order anything online if I didn't HAVE to. Online shopping got old the first month we lived here.

Croft, the kneepads have the hook velcro on them and just stick to the kevlar lining in the jeans. I would have prefered they be in pockets though. I think it'd make for a more softer contact between kneepad and skin.

I liked my Draggin jeans at first, but now they are all baggy and out of shape. I would suggest getting Leather... which I will do once I have saved up enough.

My cargo draggins are ok, but I really need to look into armour for them. The yare a tad baggy at the back, and they do stretch a bit. Would prefer leather, but need to save for them.
