Anyone know where to get a Tail Tidy for GSXR 1000 K6 with led light in Auckland? Also a price? Standard one looks a bit naff.
Thanks

I made mine, took the standard shovel off, cut it and shaped with a dremel.
Made two small aluminium brackets for the plate.
Looks primo, take a look at my profile pic.
Tidy as and easy to do.
I detest paying a ridiculous price for something so simple.
Spend your pennies on something useful like a pipe or crash bungs :)

don't even need to cut into the stock shovel. Can always just get/make brackets to fit, and keep the stock one, just in case..
But if you don't mind hacking into it, then yeah, all ya do is shave off what you don't want

SimJen, photo looks good. Do you have a close up shot?

Here you go.
You can see just above the plate a slight lip that was the existing spade. Trimmed it back, then aluminium straps for the plate hanger that screw into the same holes as the spade. Might need slightly longer screws though.
Good and cheap, you can barely see any of it from behind.

Looks good. How do you illuminate your number plate?

I don't :)
I never ride at night anyway. But if I get called up at the next WOF, I'll get some white led's and make some lights up.

I've used THESE (http://www.iceobarimports.co.nz/view_product.php?product=XYL%20133) which work well and are 100% legal too.
I'll try and find the guy's TM link as they're $5 cheaper on there
